Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist with expertise in Emerson DeltaV to support pharmaceutical manufacturing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation systems to ensure efficient and compliant manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement DeltaV automation systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Support automation system upgrades, including configuration, troubleshooting, and testing.
  • Perform IQ/OQ/PQ activities and ensure compliance with GMP and FDA guidelines.
  • Develop and modify control strategies, batch recipes, and control modules within the DeltaV platform.
  • Lead automation system troubleshooting and root cause analysis for deviations and equipment issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering to ensure system reliability and compliance.
  • Support data integrity initiatives and maintain accurate documentation for all automation-related activities.
  • Provide technical support and training to manufacturing and maintenance teams.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in DeltaV automation within a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, and EMA regulations.
  • Experience with batch automation, recipe configuration, and process control systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
