Job Overview:
We operate a fleet of oil road tankers delivering oil products to our clients throughout the region. We are seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to join our team and support our growing business. You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective distribution of oil products, coordinating with the drivers and dispatchers, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the daily operations of the oil distribution company, including coordination of deliveries and scheduling of drivers and equipment
- Monitor driver performance and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Resolve ad-hoc operational issues and work with external partners to ensure they are well-supported in fuel supply
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Participate in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries, and other operational data
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and billing
- Assist in the management of the company’s fleet of oil road tankers
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

**Requirements**:

- Experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and developing policies and procedures
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Class 4 driving license will be preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
