Corporate Gift Purchaser

We are searching for a trend-savvy Purchaser with a keen eye for detail to buy various goods for our companies. The merchandiser's duties will include conducting market research, building a network of reliable vendors and service providers, negotiating the best contracts, inspecting deliveries, and traveling overseas to attend exhibitions.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Sourcing for supplies, validation of vendors and invoices, negotiate pricing and place order with selected suppliers/vendors
- Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts
- Attending events, shows, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products.
- Vendor logistics coordination & shipping matters
- Perform accurate data entry and ensure proper filing of documents (paper / e
- record files)
- Ensure timely delivery of supplies from suppliers and vendors including receipt of goods on delivery
- Interface with Accounts on Vendor Payment Matters
- Ensuring customer orders are sent out timely
- Other ad-hoc functions as assigned by the manager
**Qualifications/Educational Requirements**:
- ITE / Diploma in Supply Chain / Business / Logistics Or Related
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Meticulous with keen eye for detail
- Competent in MS office software (Excel / Word)
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Proactive team player, diligent, and able to handle stress and tight deadlines
- Must be able to communicate well in English and Chinese Languages
