**Your new company**
This is a leading tech organisation with a significant headcount of over 10,000 globally, looking to further expand their headcount in the APAC region.

**Your new role**
Responsible for managing a large team, this is a high-profile role leading a team of HRBPs in the APAC region and reporting to the VP of HR based in the US. Due to expansion, this HR Director of APAC is a newly created role which will allow this organisation to pave the way in shaping HR for the future. Your role will include ensuring the strong relationship between operation and strategy when it comes to people matters and you’ll be the driver for change across the business. You’ll also be spearheading the transformation of the role of HRBPs where the focus will be more aligned to business objectives. You will also partner with various stakeholders to ensure that there is a positive commercial approach whilst ensuring that the employee journey is at the forefront of decision making.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You'll be an experienced HR leader who has significant years of HRBP experience and have managed teams in an agile, matrix environment. You'll also have experience in collaborating with various stakeholders as an influential partner, achieving buy-in towards HR transformation for alignment to business objectives. You have strong communication skills and have a good understanding of various cultures across the APAC region. Ideally you will have covered both Japan and India in your previous roles.
