8x8 is looking for a self motivated and dynamic HR Generalist to join the APAC HR team. This role is the face of HR for the APAC Regional and provides support to all employees as part of the larger HR team.

The role covers a wide range of HR functions including owning and managing the onboarding/offboarding processes, Implementation and training on global HR initiatives, dealing with the full spectrum of employee requests and is a key member of the Regional and Global HR Team. This role will support 150+ employees in 9 countries, report to the HR Director, APAC and work closely with our global operations and talent acquisition teams in the US and EMEA.

**Job Responsibilities;**:

- Support the business on all HR related inquiries by working with the global teams to provide the answer employees’ requests to an agreed service level
- Lead and facilitate the employee onboarding/offboarding process
- Manage administration of the Company’s absence management system
- Work with the Global benefits team to manage employee benefits administration and communication and day to day employee inquiries
- Organise and participate in the roll out of all Global HR initiatives and support the Director HR on training session
- Collect feedback on the employee experience during the onboarding process and ensure this is fed back to the Global HR team
- Provide managers with HR reports and information as needed
- Ensure employee data is regularly checked for accuracy
- Work closely with the Global Talent Acquisition and Operations teams to build strong collaborative relationships to deliver Service excellence to the Business.
- Partner with HR Operations and HR team to modify, create or partner on HR policies, policy creation and procedures to ensure compliance and/or support process changes.
- Support the HR Director on ad hoc projects as needed

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- Relevant experience providing broad based HR support to managers and employees on the full spectrum of general operation
- Passionate about owning outcomes and driving high quality results that build an extraordinary employee experience.
- Strong program management and problem solving skills
- Customer focused and service oriented
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and partner effectively across organizational and geographical boundaries.
- Ability to navigate complexity and thrive in a fast paced and changing environment using strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working remotely with Global teams located outside the region is preferred
- BA/BS in Human Resources/ Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
