**Team Summary**
The Treasury as a Service (TaaS) team is charged with leading the design, build, and commercialization of best-in-class flexible enterprise-wide FX, virtual accounts, and currency management solutions as we seek to meet the growing and increasingly diversified needs of clients moving funds around the world. In addition, TaaS includes the commercialization of Currencycloud, our recently acquired cloud-based embedded cross border money movement infrastructure solution and the integration of these capabilities into Visa platforms & solutions.
Treasury is a key enabler of Visa’s seamless cross-border commerce. Historically, Treasury has delivered the systems, processes and capabilities to support foreign exchange services for our Issuer and Acquirer Clients around the world, and managed and executed settlement of consumer purchases in 28 currencies every day. As our network and our business expands, including with the introduction of Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (Visa B2B Connect, Visa Direct, and Visa Government Services) and use-cases involving global money movement, rapidly evolving consumer expectations with fintech, wallets and neobanks, new distribution models like open banking demanding API based multicurrency solutions, and new settlement models leveraging crypto beginning to enter mainstream, our Treasury capabilities are adapting to meet clients’ needs and support our vision for Visa to be the embedded cross border payments facilitator across a range of use cases - Purchase Flows, New Payment Flows, and Off-Visa Flows.
**What a **_Senior Consultant, Business Development _**does at Visa**:
- Mapping out the relevant areas of the Visa organisation,
- Building strong commercial relationships throughout the organisation,
- Creating awareness and demand of the TaaS portfolio of solutions,
- Testing positioning & messaging to drive opportunity generation,
- Nurturing complex or first of a kind deals (new markets, segments, enterprise, etc.),
- Managing deal flow with the sales teams to optimize pipeline effectively,
- Assisting in uncovering new pockets of opportunity for future development/investment and helping with business case for investment
- Reporting on and providing consistent feedback to leadership and broader TaaS GTM teams on progress, learnings, challenges, successes, resources asks, etc.
**Awareness & Education**:
- Working with marketing to ensure delivery of powerful sales enablement collateral and company wide mass education campaigns
- Continuous focus on positioning and messaging to ensure we are giving the teams what they need to drive us forward and encourage them to think about new opportunities to present TaaS
- Building and documenting use cases
- Lead teach-ins, participate in town halls, and drive other ongoing education campaigns with Visa A/Es and other Visa stakeholders
**Sales Enablement**
- Become an expert on all things Visa sales including but not limited to products, sales process, target customers, levers (VIK, incentives, VAS, etc.), enablement tools (Fast Track, Partner Connect, etc.), how to embed TaaS into global bids, etc.
**Pipeline Generation**:
- Engagement/relationship building with wider Visa sales teams
- Creating mutual target lists
- Account mapping
- Establishing cadences for pipeline review and staying “top of mind”
- Leveraging joint marketing/event/speaking opportunities
**Deal & Pipeline Management**:
- Overseeing and developing client opportunities: with a more involved role in complex and first of a kind deals or developing clients who “have heard of TaaS, are curious, or know they need to develop a cross border strategy, but aren’t quite ready for a sales cycle”
- Working with sales leadership to assign deals to CC sales teams and assisting in pipeline management/prioritization,
- Introducing and aligning key Visa and CC stakeholders
**Training**
- Working with CC sales to educate on best practices for “sell through Visa” sales methodology and new verticals/use cases and work with broader engagement team to create repeata
