We are a rapidly growing hedge fund, 2 years old, managing a 9-figure AUM, generating 200%+ annualized returns with a 4 Sharpe.
We've grown to a team of ~40 across Trading & Research, Tech, and Operations.
**About the Role**
We are hiring a Chief of Staff to be the right-hand person to our founder/CIO.
This will be a critical role that interfaces and communicates with every part of our firm, from researchers to engineering to operations.
- You will represent our founder internally to ensure that his directives, priorities, policies, and values are executed and that correct alignment exists between himself and all employees.
- You will identify areas of improvement and work with our founder to prioritize special projects and ensure they are on track.
- You will ensure individual performance is extremely high across the firm.

**Key Requirements**
**Necessities**
- You must have work experience in a discretionary trading firm, intimately understanding how alpha is generated and how to work with and empower traders and researchers.
- You must have high EQ and people management experience: a large part of this role is our founder being able to offload and trust that you can handle people issues within his organization.
- You must have extremely high intellectual horsepower and drive, as you will be called on to quickly master and lead various new domain areas.
- **You must be located in or be willing to relocate permanently to Taipei**, as this is where our founder is located.
- You are results-oriented and proactively take initiative to prioritize and solve important problems, even without specific directives or requests to do so.
**Nice-to-Haves**
- You likely have been part of a hedge fund as it scaled from ~50 to ~200 people and understand what pitfalls may arise and associated best practices.
- You likely have 6-8+ years in an executive leadership role. It is highly likely you have held a previous role as a Chief of Staff, Director of Operations, or COO.
- You ideally have experience or passion in trading.
- You may have experience negotiating with and managing external vendors.
