Singapore UIB ASIA REINSURANCE BROKERS PTE. LTD. Full time

**Overall Role**:
To deliver client service through the day to day administration of Facultative business relating to the placement, servicing & documentation of all classes of insurances. Answering client's queries. Placing contracts of insurance that meet clients’ needs to the UIB markets. Ensuring placements maintain local compliance, regulatory and quality practice standards.

**Key Accountabilities/Core Competence Indicators**:
**Broking**
- Complete placement of Facultative reinsurance accounts thorough review of merits of individual accounts and provide recommendation where necessary.
- Accuracy and completeness of documents (Placing Slips, Cover notes, Signed Slips and Endorsements, etc).
- Handling Client enquiries.
- Excellent relationship management with business partners (cedants & reinsurers).

**Client Negotiation**
- Analysis, sourcing of information, use of market knowledge, clinching of deals.

**Business Development**
- Maintaining existing client relationship and also constantly look out for new client / product (i.e renewal & new business).

**Client Service**
- Servicing of existing/new clients.

**Authority to act for the Company**
- To bind lines on behalf of the Cedant.

**Generic Knowledge and Skills**
- Various classes of insurance as commonly demanded within client markets.
- Various market practices within client markets.
- Market and Industry dynamics.
- Various Insurance products/ solutions within client markets.
- Risk Analysis.
- IT literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
- Client Servicing.

**UIB Knowledge and Skills**
- Netreibs System.

Internal procedures and processes (e.g. filing system, "can do" mentality).
