Based in Singapore, the Head of Organizational & Talent Development will take the whelm of organization and talent development for Circles in Singapore and around the region.
Shape the life of Circles (in a scientific way)
- **Organizational Development**
Shape the way of organization set up, and uplift the organization effectiveness and efficiency via interventions such as organization design, manpower planning, and revamped performance management, to start with, and a lot more in the near future.
- **Talent Development**
Shape the leadership and capabilities, to form our competitive advantages with talents, including but not limited to leadership development, top team effectiveness (very tough, but super fulfilling), capability building, competency model, career path, etc
- **Talent engagement**
Shape the culture by instilling values into the behaviors, and leveraging employee engagement (really put the manager and employees into the equation of employee engagement).
**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Knowing:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of various stages of organization, principles in building great organizations
- Good understanding of leadership journey
- Structured approach to problems solving
- Advanced facilitation skills (at the top leadership level)
- Very data savvy
- Great people insights
- Doing:
- 10+ years of proven success in Organizational & Talent Development, with a combination of consulting experience and in-house experience (i know, rare; that's why we cherish a lot whoever comes through the funnel)
- Took end-to-end responsibilities in transforming an organization
- Facilitated the leadership development journey of the top team (including designing the journey and facilitated key sessions as well)
- Being:
- Self-driven (we really don't like micromanagement in the team)
- Resilient (There might be set-backs. It's ok to fall down, but it's not ok to stay down)
- Optimistic (there is nothing called a perfect organization. Turning adversity to opportunity is critical)
- Learning-agility. (we cannot get stubborn about what worked before must work here. Key is to thoroughly share your insights/design, adjust per the context here, and embrace the collective decision and fire in all cylinders to execute for results with excellence).
- Reflective (things can go wrong and they will. Always pointing fingers to others does not work here. Rather, we all need to reflect on areas that we all can do better, and initiate remedies, constantly).
