
Assistant Manager, Business Development

The incumbent will work closely with the Senior Assistant Director to drive the Business Development for the Continuation Programs in the College. This involves understanding the lifelong learning market trend, government Continuing Education (CE) initiatives, and the University's CE mission and strategic goals and objectives to promote lifelong learning to its alumni, the industry, and the general community.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be in touch with the latest trends, market developments/demands in in the CET landscape- Support in formulating sales strategies and priorities in line with the college’s business objectives- Assist in developing client proposals- Generate organic growth in existing accounts, leading to repeated enrolments/ revenue- Participate in sales outreach events, trade/ roadshows, and business-related activities as and when required- Interface between College and Schools to harmonise the outreach strategies, implementation plans, and efforts and support the Schools in their outreach- Provide prompt services and administrative support for participants from pre-admission and admission till the completion of the programmes to ensure quality services and outcomes- Manage records of sales, revenue, and other important data- Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with clients by providing excellent and consistent sales service, following up on enquiries, and building rapport- Drive sales opportunities from both existing and prospecting for new leads/ accounts
**Requirements**:
- Min 5 years of experience with a proven business development track record and a good understanding of the Higher Education landscape- Knowledge on SEO / website design/EDMs will be an added advantage- Able to work well with people at all levels with strong stakeholder management- Experience in developing business plans, proposals, budgets, and skills to monitor, review and report on progress- Team player with a strong ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders effectively- Excellent verbal and written communications skills that are persuasive, influential, and compelling- Robust people skills and ability to represent CoHASS in public settings- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with competing deadlines
