
Assistant Company Secretary

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Supporting the provision of corporate governance advisory and secretarial support to Boards and Committees, planning, scheduling and review of relevant materials submitted to the various Committees
- Overseeing the preparation of Board and executive committee papers, agendas and briefing notes for chairs of boards and committees
- Overseeing NED appointments, onboarding, induction, and ongoing training development needs
- Ensuring compliance with company law, regulations and best corporate governance practice and principles at all times
- Supporting implementation of Group projects including streamlining and digitalisation initiatives
**Requirements**:
- Qualified Company Secretary or Lawyer
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a law firm or Company Secretariat function
- Working experience in a Financial Institution or bank is an advantage
- Good knowledge of the local regulatory requirements including Companies Act, MAS Guidelines and ACRA filing requirements
- Good written skills and experienced in drafting Board and Board Committee minutes
- Good communication and interpersonal skills including the maintenance and development of relationships with internal and external stakeholders
