We are searching for a Compensation and Benefits Analyst, EAI who possesses with a consultative and collaborative style that understands the importance of working with customer centric teams and is passionate about creating a pay for performance culture to grow our human capital. **THE ROLE**:
This role is responsible for executing and development of regional compensation strategies and actions plans to aligned to growth plans in this region, together with Regional functional leaders (i.e., Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain) to achieve overall organization’s objectives. In addition, this role would have to liaise with Multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **_: _**_Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below. _
The responsibilities of the role are to implement the required action plan, manage and proactively embed in the operations and drive C&B activities to support efforts to achieve the development and execution of regional compensation and benefits strategies. The role shall carry out tactical activities. In addition, it is to support key tasks, including drive C&B projects across functions such as salary benchmarking and collaboration with external consulting company within East Asia & India region aligned with Regional vision and aspirations.
The assigned territories include all associated businesses in East Asia and India.
The Compensation & Benefits Analyst, EAI’s specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:
- Maximum 3 pointers per accountability**Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)**
- Provide expertise, counsel, and advice on all C&B programs, ensure designs are globally aligned with business objectives and C&B philosophy; effectively communicate and deliver programs to HR Partners, Managers and Participants.
- On an ongoing basis, analyze the Company's C&B programs relative to market position, internal equity, regulatory compliance, and C&B philosophy. Recommend salary structure and base pay adjustments, annual incentive plan structure, and target bonus levels. Prepare and present C&B analyses, materials, and recommendations to Senior Leadership.
- Mobility-Responsible for pro-active Mobility analysis and benchmarking including the development of action plans, and development benchmarking policy to support cross-border mobility of employees if required.
- Provide C&B inputs during major organizational realignments; perform C&B due diligence on proposed mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures by assessing the organizational structure and cost impact; make recommendations on C&B implications, structure changes, retention strategies and grade levelling. Oversee the successful integration/harmonization of new and existing C&B programs and structures.
- Annually coordinate with regional Finance to ensure the accrual for Gates Global Bonus, Sales Incentive Plan, Manufacturing Incentive plan and merit budget are accrual according to global instruction.
**Accountability #2: Process / Performance**
- Provide day-to-day C&B counsel, support and advice to HR Partners and Business Leaders and lead the East Asia and India HR team in the implementation, communication and timely administration of C&B programs including job offers, internal promotions, equity analyses, annual and long-term incentives, regional international assignment packages, etc.
