**What the role is**
- The Communications and Engagement Division is responsible for communicating MTI’s policies to external stakeholders such as the business community, industry players, as well as the general public. The Division oversees the areas of public relations, media relations, stakeholder engagement, strategic messaging as well as marketing and digital communications for the Ministry. It works closely with the other Divisions within MTI to profile MTI’s work in developing a vibrant and dynamic Singapore economy. The Division also manages the Ministry’s website and quality service functions, which serve as crucial touchpoints between the Ministry and the public.

**What you will be working on**
- As an officer of the digital communications team under the Communications and Engagement Division (CED), your responsibilities include:

- Communicate MTI's policies to external stakeholders, namely the business community, industry players, Trade Associations & Chambers, unions, students/youths and general public, through the execution of marketing and digital communications initiatives.
- Manage MTI’s social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Telegram) and devise strategies to improve engagement rates and augment reach, including tracking outreach performance and putting up reports to management.
- Work closely with media and content partners to implement an integrated campaign plan spanning print, online, radio, social media, and broadcast channels to raise awareness on MTI’s key focus areas.
- Provide communications counsel and marcoms support to MTI divisions and work closely with them to develop publicity materials (i.e. infographics, short videos) on MTI’s economic strategies, ensuring alignment with the overall MTI narrative and branding.
- Staff key events attended by Political Office Holders and facilitate publicity efforts such as capturing simple clips/photos for IG stories to profile and communicate MTI's work.

**What we are looking for**
- At least 2-3years of related work experience in digital communications or is able to show good understanding of social media platforms and outreach performance data insights
- Good project management and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing skills
- Interest in public sector policy matters and economy related issues
- Able to negotiate and collaborate effectively at an advanced level
- Basic proficiency in using professional camera (i.e. DSLR) to take photos / videos and graphic design skills (i.e. Canva) will be an added advantage
