**What the role is**
- As a Senior Assistant Director/ Deputy Director, Internal Audit, you will be part of the Internal Audit leadership team involved in defining the risk-based audit plans and managing internal audit projects. You will report to the Head of Internal Audit.

**What you will be working on**
- Assist the Head of Internal Audit in various audit projects including reporting to the Senior Management and Audit Committee on a regular basis - Supervise the auditors in the execution of audits, ensure that audits are completed in a timely and efficient manner and work closely with them to further develop their competencies - Identify critical areas of focus in planning and scoping audit projects - Evaluate internal control design and operating effectiveness in the safeguarding and use of Government resources - Communicate root causes of identified issues, related risks, as well as formulate appropriate recommendations and action plans for process improvements - Establish strong relationship with various stakeholders to manage risk - Assist in risk assessment, resource planning including budgeting and the development of annual audit plan
