**Responsibilities**
- Report directly to General Manager/Managing Director.
- Introduce new methods to improve management of human resources.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategy.
- Comply with various regulations (Employment Act, TAFEP, PWM).
- Ensure that employees enjoy salaries & benefits at market competitive levels.
- Develop employee skills to meet Company needs.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention, collaborating with external agencies and drive recruitment efforts.
- Review existing HR policies / practices and propose improvements
- Manage transition to new HRIS software (Whyze)
- Explore various sources of manpower to meet companies’ growth in cost-efficient manner.
- Develop competitive salary scales and benefits
- Handling company insurance (e.g Public liability & WICA claims)
- Overseas Training Plan and Evaluation system, oversee Training function
- Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with various government regulations (e.g., MOM, SFA, IRAS,WSH)
- Partner with the leadership team to align HR strategy to business objectives
- Work closely with Heads of Department in the resource planning and talent acquisition for the departments in the Unit
- Partner with Project Management team and the leadership team in developing and building a talent pipeline for the departments
- Partner with Learning & Development Department and the leadership team in driving the annual performance review
- Work closely with Operations Team on the on-boarding, off-boarding and internal mobility of employees
- Deliver HR services in an effective and efficient manner; identify and resolve HR issues within the Operations Team if required
- Be part of HR-related projects, when required, including those related to the development and implementation of HR Systems and other ad hoc projects that may arise
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resource or equivalent
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in HR, preferably in a fast-paced environment F&B industry.
- Familiar employment laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with Whyze and TMS.
- Resourceful, independent and possesses strong initiative and drive
- Meticulous and exercises high level of discretion when dealing with confidential information
- Team player, who is mature with good hands-on multi-tasking abilities
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
