Our client is a Global MNC specializing in design, engineering, procurement, construction, and delivery of facilities for high-tech industries.

**_The Position_**

**Senior Engineer (Civil & Structural)**

**_The Responsibilities_**
- Covers the Tender, Design and Construction Management of all types of Civil and Structural Systems for industrial facilities buildings.
- Take charge of the design for Concrete and Steel Structures.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to achieve project completion within budget, schedule, and quality.
- Prepares, issues, and evaluates tender packages.
- Coordinates with Architectural and Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines, and Quantity surveyors.
- Address site issues related to design and liaised with Consultants and sub-contractors.
- Provides direction and coaching to other junior team members.
- Manages timely submission and approvals from local authorities.
- Mentoring of Civil & Structural engineers during tendering, design and construction phase based on best practices defined in the engineering efficiency checklist.
- Responsible for ensuring to remain familiar with current practices and engineering trends within the industry and to remain technically competent.

**_The Requirements_**
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
- Diploma holders with additional 2 - 3 years’ experience unless equated with professional certifications.
- At least 6 - 8 years of Design and Construction experience.
- Design and Construction experience preferably in industrial buildings with precast and long span roof trusses experiences.
- Site experience on piling works, sub-structure and super structure works for reinforce concrete and steel structures and precast structures.
- Experience with reviewing precast and steel structures shop drawings.
- Skilled at creating detailed designs, as well as working in a well-knit team.
- Able to do tender / preliminary design, detailed design, preparation and managing sub-contracted tender packages and lead a team of Engineers and Computer Aided Design.
- Conversant with the local authorities requirements for Civil and Structural submissions.
- Conversant with other country codes is preferable.
- Willing to travel, if required.

**Technical Skills**
- Working knowledge of structural design software such as STAAD-Pro, Prokon and Orion.

- Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course
- Workplace Safety and Health Risk Management Course

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: From $7,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
