**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The **Partner Technical Manager (PTM)** is a senior, strategic role within our Systems Engineering team, focused on empowering and enabling Pure Storage’s most critical Channel Partners. As a PTM, you will serve as a technical advisor, evangelist, and strategic collaborator, ensuring our partners are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and support to drive autonomous success across the region.

This role bridges sales, engineering, and partner ecosystems — aligning go-to-market strategies, driving technical enablement, and supporting long-term, value-based relationships with key resellers and system integrators.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Partner Enablement & Autonomy**: Drive technical and sales enablement programs to elevate partner capabilities and independence using Pure’s FlashArray, FlashBlade, and other solutions.
- **Strategic Collaboration**: Align with Sales, Systems Engineering, Partner Account Managers, and Channel teams to develop and execute regional partner strategies.
- **Technical Evangelism**: Deliver compelling presentations, workshops, and training to partner engineers and sales teams showcasing Pure’s technology leadership.
- **Sales Support**: Assist in driving partner-led opportunities through the entire sales cycle - from discovery and qualification to evaluation and closure.
- **Market & Product Intelligence**: Gather partner feedback on market trends, feature requests, and customer needs; channel these insights back to Pure’s product and engineering teams.
- **Program Execution**: Own and manage partner technical enablement plans; measure, monitor, and report on success and improvement areas.
- **Coaching & Mentorship**: Be a trusted advisor to partners, providing guidance on how to sell, compete, and scale in today’s data-centric market.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- 5-10 years’ experience in enterprise storage, systems, or networking - with a strong background in supporting sales and/or channels in Southeast Asia.
- Strong technical knowledge across storage architectures (DAS, NAS, SAN, iSCSI, FC), cloud, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix), networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet), and operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows).
- Familiarity with modern technologies such as AI, ML, Big Data, SaaS, and DevOps environments.
- Previous Channel/Partner Account Management experience preferred.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and interpersonal skills - able to influence without authority and build long-term relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication, including the ability to simplify technical concepts for a range of audiences.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field preferred.
- High emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, and a team-first mindset.
- Proficiency in**English (written and spoken) is required; fluency in a Southeast Asian language is strongly preferred to support regional partner engagement.
