**THE POSITION**

This **Technical Design Drafter** position works in Design Dept (Tools & Dies) assisting in drafting of technical documents. It is an essential role involving Tool Design and Process Automation capabilities in creating and revising technical diagrams, schematics and engineering drawings.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Draft and help in design work with Design Engineers during the development of tools/ dies/ jig and fixture and automation assembly from ideas to fabrication.
- Ability to produce accurate and detail drawings in 2D and 3D modeling using software such as SolidWorks/ Pro-E/ AutoCAD or other software with guidance from senior staff.
- At times need to acquire technical data from catalogs, internet searches and vendors, to create models and drawings.
- Create and check assembly layouts and detail part drawings on assigned projects.
- Report project status and co-ordinate with related departments to meet timeline.

**CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS**
- Higher NITEC or Diploma in Design or Engineering.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years working experience in drafting.
- Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD/ SolidWorks.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to details and able to meet timeline and work under pressure.
- Can-do attitude and take responsibility and being co-operative.
