The DSP business is of huge strategic importance for our company bringing all of our ad products together into the Unified Stack. Building capability across the APAC region to capitalise on this opportunity is a priority for the business. This role is responsible for driving strategic commercial and product capability, tied to revenue across the region. Working with the Global Strategy and Product teams, to empower and localise the APAC DSP specialists alongside regional sales and functional leads.
**Team Purpose**:
To grow the Yahoo DSP product (omni-channel and innovation) across core APAC markets (SG, SEA, India, TW and HK) and achieve commercial objectives in the Yahoo business. Executing the Platform Strategy through internal and client education, with the premise of increasing user adoption through commercial and product initiatives **.**
**Key Activities**:
Revenue Generation - 40%
- Generate/increase revenue through initiatives to help meet wider DSP team’s monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
- Strategic responds to DSP queries & briefs in a consultative manner on time and pro-actively following up these responses to achieve a positive outcome.
- Proactively identifying new revenue opportunities across the APAC market and developing appropriate strategies to win these or upsell.
- Accurate quarterly forecasting as well as feed into wider account patch and market strategy for the Yahoo DSP.
- Partner with global Strategy, product and service teams to expand a consistent, global and localised go-to-market.
- Partner with internal agency sales leads to help fulfill wider holding group strategy (DSP, Native, Data, Creative etc).
- Lead strategic account plans and initiatives with sales and solutions teams to solve client business challenges.
Delivering Market Leading Service - 20%
- Identifying strategic client stakeholders, empower them to be promoters & evangelists for the technology and solution capabilities.
- Building and developing relationships across Agency Trading Desks as well as in-house trading teams.
- Providing key insights and optimisation opportunities to Media Agencies, Agency Trading Desks & Search Agencies.
- Have in depth knowledge of Yahoo DSP products and services, and be able to communicate these effectively in market.
- Address any problems and work through them quickly and efficiently while communicating with the parties involved.
- Have a solid wider market knowledge as part of the DSP teams client consultative goals.
- Influence client decision making by delivering insights, recommendations and network/advertiser trending, maintaining top of mind presence and positioning Yahoo DSP advertising technology as the market leader.
Establishing and maintaining internal relationships - 10%
- Contribute and facilitate key DSP strategic initiatives around education, adoption that lead to growth opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with agency and middle market Media Sales Managers to identify revenue opportunities & educate Media Sales Managers on programmatic, native and data.
- Working with the Trading Operations Team to communicate and deliver the strategies needed to service Agencies & Trading Desks.
- Track monthly and quarterly revenue projections based on reporting provided.
- Translate market feedback into product requirements, and collect market data and information to guide our overall strategies.
System, Process and Technology Management - 20%
- Display a passion for Ad Technology and innovation to solve client problems.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Undergo the required training and induction throughout employment to increase skill base, client relationships and engagement.
- Troubleshoot campaign delivery and performance via intimate understanding of Yahoo Proprietary and 3rd party technology.
- Ability to learn and master multiple platforms to ensure Yahoo provides flexibility for specialised client needs.
Market Education and Product Awareness - 10%
- Be capable of presenting to a client in a competent and professional manor to help educate clients on new products and technologies.
- Be able to discuss various technologies, strategies and products that exist within the Yahoo business.
- Keep up to date with market trends in programmatic to ensure quality and relevancy of client communications and optimisation.
- Educate members of the team on new developments, to maintain a consistent level of knowledge across the business unit for coverage purposes.
- Help to develop Platforms product collateral.

You are expected to operate autonomously but always with the immediate help and guidance of your Head of Platform Sales. While you do not have direct report, you must be able to develop the relationships required to elicit results and output from various departments that do not report into you.
