**What the role is**
- Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG)
We build socially responsible individuals and strong and stable families by creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, young persons and families. We protect and rehabilitate the abused and youth offenders.
Probation and Community Rehabilitation Service (PCRS)
We are responsible for the effective rehabilitation of offenders on community-based orders with maximum participation of their families and the community. We are passionate and committed to making a difference to the lives of these youths and their families and are looking for like-minded individuals to join our dynamic and life-changing team.

**What you will be working on**
- You will oversee a team of officers responsible for developing a future-ready operational environment that supports the identified client and organisational outcomes.
Reporting to the Deputy Director, your main responsibilities include:
1. Review operational policies, procedures and practices to ensure they are relevant to the changing landscape and aligned with Division’s strategic goal and practice framework.
2. Introduce progressive and evidence-based operational capabilities / initiatives.
3. Improve operational efficiency by streamlining processes and adopting technology-related solutions.
4. Collaborate with functional units and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of the new initiatives.

**What we are looking for**
- 1. At least 5 years of relevant experience.
2. An interest in offender management work.
3. Prior experience in policy-making.
4. Strong conceptualisation and analytical skills.
5. Good people skills and a strong team player.
6. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and convincingly (both oral and written).
7. Result-focused and able to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
