Assists Assistant Directors and Heads (Youth & Sports) to promote the development of youth programmes.
- Formulates, implements and reviews plans for the development of youth engagement programmes to achieve long-term community goals.
- Assists in the promotion and participation of the youth programmes at national and international levels.
- Provides administrative support to facilitate effective implementation of their programmes and works closely with District/ GRC representatives in maintaining strong links with the YNs.
- Explains government policies, facilitates discussion and channels feedback to appropriate parties to develop and strengthen the Youth Networks (YNs)/ partnerships as effective communication channel between the government and the youths / members.
- Works closely with the Council and the team on PAYM50 programmes and ensure smooth execution of the programmes.
- Explains youth policies and programmes to the Constituency Managers to maintain communication channel between the YNs and the Division.
- Coordinates the recruitment of youth leaders / members to ensure a high-level of involvement and minority-group participation.
- Performs other duties assigned by senior officers.

**Work Schedule**:
Contract Duration: 6 Months

**Salary**: $10/h

Location: Jalan Besar

Working Hours:
Mon to Thurs 8.5hrs

Fri 8hrs

(Required to work in the evenings or weekends for events and events

May need to work outside of work hours to complete urgent tasks, where required.)

**Experience**:

- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Effective administrative skills
- Ability to prioritise and plan effectively
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Good IT skills and experience in managing social media and website

**Requirements**:

- Pleasant and outgoing character, good inter-personal skills, enjoys working with youths, able to work independently and as a team member.
- Self-motivated and goal-getter.
- Creative and forward-thinking.
- Able to work in the evenings and weekends, where required.
