Circulate Capital is an investment management firm that finances innovations, companies, and

infrastructure to prevent the flow of plastic waste into the world's oceans and advance a carbon-neutral

circular economy in emerging markets. It mobilizes catalytic capital to invest across the entire plastic value

chain, from innovative materials to advanced recycling technologies.

We aim to prove that investing in the sector can generate competitive returns, while preventing plastic

pollution, mitigating climate change, and improving livelihoods. Its founding investors include PepsiCo,

Procter & Gamble, Dow, Danone, Chanel, Unilever, The Coca-Cola Company, Chevron Phillips Chemical

Company LLC, and Mondelēz International.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide integral analysis and insights on impacts through the

investment process for a diverse portfolio of circular economy

solutions, working in partnership with the Circulate team,

portfolio companies and third-party consultants.
- In collaboration with the Investment team, ensure our

investment process is consistent with Circulate’s Environmental

and Social Management System, highlighting opportunities to

improve performance.
- Monitor impact and E&S performance of portfolio companies,

maintaining reliable documentation and data on companies in

due diligence and the portfolio to support efficient investment

processes, delivery of impact reporting.
- Build capacity of portfolio companies on impact management

and operations.
- Support Circulate Capital’s annual third-party verification/audit

process and production of associated public impact reporting.
- Share knowledge and resources with Investment Managers,

enabling them to support Portfolio Companies in their impact

and sustainability reporting plans.
- Lead strategic analysis of impact potential and performance for

use by the global Leadership Team and Investment Team.
- Support the production of impact insights and research,

identifying emerging trends and assessing their implication for

financial institutions, portfolio companies, and other

stakeholders.
- Conduct research and analysis on other portfolio-level or special

topics, such as climate or gender, as needed.

**KEY COMPETENCIES**

**Required**
- A formal degree in environmental science/engineering, finance, sustainability, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis, impact and ESG reporting, investor

relations, third-party disclosures, or assurances.
- Experience effectively managing relationships and reporting with SMEs, government regulators,

multinational corporations and/or development finance institutions.
- Ability to communicate complex analysis and ideas in a concise manner in English - written, visually, and

verbally.
- Advanced data management skills, including quality assurance, analytics, and visualization, with fine

attention to detail.

**Desired**
- Ability to work both with limited supervision and in collaboration with a global team.
- Demonstrated expertise in examining impact of sustainable/responsible supply chain,

manufacturing, or waste management processes, including life cycle assessments (LCAs) or gender

analyses.
- Experience working with development finance institutions.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, DataStudio); CMS (Affinity).
- A collaborative and creative nature with intellectual curiosity.
- Fluency in English, plus at least one other language.

the source by collecting, sorting, processing, and recycling waste in South and Southeast

Asian countries known to contribute significantly to ocean plastic. As a result, waste is

diverted from the environment into the recycling value chain, furthering the circular

economy.

Our goal is to remove access to capital as a barrier to the development of waste

management and recycling infrastructure and to support innovative solutions to the

problem of ocean plastics.
