**About the Role**

We are looking for an **Director, Impact Investing, **to develop and implement the strategy for the vertical. This individual will play a critical role in AVPN’s growth strategy to further it’s work in impact investing and engage industry stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working with the Chief Impact Investment Officer, Implement strategic projects and programme for the vertical;
- Support AVPN members and partners to enable research which can lead to greater awareness and adoption of impact investing standards and tools;
- Increase AVPN brand awareness in the region by establishing a presence at relevant industry events;
- Curate discussions which bring about a better understanding of ecosystem-building challenges and opportunities and explore initiatives to address these challenges and opportunities;
- Work with members and partners to drive programmes which catalyse impact investing activities in Asia;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing members;
- Support team members in different verticals where required.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business administration, economics, accounting or finance
- 12+ years of experience in investment, sustainable finance, or the development sector
- Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and programme development
- Experience working within and managing a lean team
- You are a firm believer in the power of networks to mobilise more capital for better development outcomes
- You can forge and cultivate relationships with members and be comfortable dealing with funders
- You enjoy forging new paths and collaborating well with others to make things happen
- You see the big picture and articulate pictures and visions of possibilities to drive our work forward
- You have excellent organisational and management skills
- You are a concise, compelling writer and an effective verbal communicator.
