This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the investment team and will primarily work with the family office’s ESG & Impact Investment Manager to deploy capital to achieve financial and impact returns, as well as to measure and manage the outcomes of this.

The ESG & Impact Investment Analyst will conduct ESG due diligence on investments across asset classes and strategies.

**ESG**
- Due diligence on prospective fund investments
- Engaging the fund managers we invest in on ESG topics
- Monitoring the ESG related aspects of our committed investments
- Reporting and monitoring the scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions of the family office

**Impact Investments**
- Monitoring committed investments

**Market research**
- Undertaking research across themes, trends and ESG regulations relevant to the family office
- Identifying emerging best practice to continuously improve our ESG process and practices

**Pipeline development**
- Helping to identifying new opportunities for investment that are strong on ESG and/or impact, through a variety of means (including attending conferences, meetings, networking events etc.)

**Partnership management**
- Helping to maintain good relationships with our impact investing and ESG partners
- Building the TFO’s brand as an impact investor

**Reporting**
- Creating quarterly and annual ESG and impact reports

**Skills, knowledge and experience sought**:

- Knowledge and experience of ESG / responsible investment reporting frameworks, such as UN PRI and TCFD.
- A knowledge of global GHG reduction frameworks and initiatives for mitigating climate change.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly (verbally, written and presentation skills).
- S/he will be proactive and able to work independently, whilst also contributing towards the work of a collaborative team.
- S/he must have the maturity and relationship skills to serve as a representative of the Tsao Family Office with respect to partnership development.
- Prior work experience in private equity / venture capital / private credit / investment banking or consulting will be seen as valuable.
- Excellent academic qualifications. Financial exposure, knowledge or degree, is a plus.
