The Role
Leads and oversees SEA (excl Thailand) 3M HCBG marketing organization, defining and updating the regional strategic marketing plan, working directly with local, regional, and global marketing and sales teams to execute and implement best practices that drive sustainable growth for Medical, Oral Care, Food Processing and Biopharma Industry.
Role Accountabilities
- Deliver Growth: Actively contribute to the sales & marketing plan achievement for 3M HCBG SEA Region product portfolio.
- Marketing Plan: Create and maintain HCBG SEA annual marketing plan and budget. Continually consult and advise on relevant marketing platforms, strategies, and tactics, effective product portfolio positioning, price/ value relationships, competitive insights, digital and social media marketing, and high ROI programs. Organize and manage Marketing processes (leveraging CRM software, SFDC) and maintain deep pipeline and accurate forecast. Through reporting and analytics, validate the quality of the lead and pipeline data and provide guidance to improve the overall data quality and efficiency of the team
- Coach, Retain & Empower SEA Country Marketers: Build, develop, and maintain working relationships with SEA Region HCBG teams and customers - including the top management teams, sales forces, industry opinion leaders, and key end customers. Organize and drive regional marketing trainings and incentive programs to ensure the country teams are empowered for growth
- Commercialization of new products: Co-create the go-to-market plan, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to determine effective launch strategy, including the rollout of creative marketing roadmaps, and communication goals to best drive awareness, engagement, and growth.
- Voice for SEA Region: Represent the voice of the SEA market internally within the global team. Lead regular regional/ global connection meetings to ensure alignment, resources prioritization, and best practice sharing. Frequently communicate the marketing plan to internal and external key stakeholders. Train new team members on the plan.
- Accelerate Channel Sales via Marketing: Work closely with the regional and local marketing teams to implement the best-in-class channel marketing programs that drive end-user demand. Leverage distributor Point-of-Sale (POS) information to find trends, sales or margin enhancement opportunities, gaps, and potential challenges. Advise on programs that can help maintain healthy levels of inventory.
- Customer Centric : Demonstrate a strong understanding of the customer perspective, including a keen understanding of customer basic business operations and the organizational levers (systems, processes, departments, functions) that drive profitable growth and customer decision making

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading, influencing, and providing direction to cross-functional teams, including business and technical teams
- Experience in scaling programs across multiple countries
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience within health care industry, preferably medical devices sales including 5+ years of management and leadership experience
- Strong commercial focus - an ability to discern business opportunities from market insights and drive these to successful business results
- Highly developed collaboration skills with an ability to work across a matrix organization, influencing peers, other functions with credibility and strong business leadership
- Ability to drive strategy and change while implementing, analyzing and continually deploying best practices
- Change agent - an ability to deal confidently with ambiguity, motivate people through transformation and mobilize teams to action
- Proven results over a period of time
- Excellent financial P&L knowledge
- Strong communication skills - written and oral in English
