**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed mechanical plumbing and sanitary system drawings using CAD software.
- Develop and review detailed plumbing and sanitary system layouts and specifications.
- Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and budgeting for plumbing and sanitary works.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and associated costs for plumbing projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure designs align with project requirements.
- Assist in reviewing contracts and tender submissions for plumbing and sanitary systems.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Monitor and track project progress, adjusting designs or estimates as needed.
- Provide support during the construction phase, including site visits and addressing technical queries.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Proven experience (3 years) as a Mechanical Drafter with a focus on plumbing and sanitary systems.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
- Experience in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and budget management for plumbing systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to plumbing and sanitary systems.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with large-scale construction projects.
- Certification in Quantity Surveying.
- Familiarity with CAD and other technical skills required.
