**The KPMG financial services advisory team assists banks and capital market sectors in managing their day-to-day business challenges and developments. We support our financial services clients on multiple diverse consulting projects that include**:
- **Business growth (e.g. market entry, customer insights, merger and acquisitions support)**:
- **Operational process improvements across the banking value chain**:
- **Organisation-wide functional (re)design**:
- **Change management and project management**:
- **Digital and technology enablement**:

**The role will be both client facing and internal, meeting with strategic alliance partners and potential target alliance partners to help determine joint go-to-market offerings, sales and pipeline development and to facilitate the smooth running of the KPMG Alliance and Partnership function. The following activities include**:
- **Build deep relationships with the individual KPMG alliance partners, client lead partners, and divisional leaders, working with them to define alliance based solutions, and the associated target markets.**:
- **Review the end to end alliance process, in conjunction with the wider Clients & Markets process, and implement enhancements to streamline where appropriate**:
- **Work with KPMG leaders and the Alliance partner leadership to develop strong alliance based value propositions, which will clearly define the alliance purpose. This may take the form of running Joint Value Proposition & Client Pursuit workshops.**:
- **Work with KPMG alliance lead partners to develop sales strategies and set revenue targets and budgeting for each strategic alliance**:
- **Understand KPMG's competitive positioning in relation to key clients and ensure that competitive intelligence is shared and actioned across key client opportunities and portfolios.**:
- **Work with potential KPMG alliance leads to develop joint business plans and gain commitment and interest from sponsoring partners / other relevant individuals. Business Plans to be approved by the National Head of Alliances.**
- **At least 10 years' experience in a sales or client-facing professional role, in a complex solution sales environment**:
- **Demonstrated relevant alliance management experience**:
- **Experience in a consulting, technology and financial services industry will be preferred**:
- **Experience of working within one of the strategic alliance organisations is preferable**:
- **Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage team meetings, supporting accounts and pursuit strategies**:
- **Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment**:
- **Problem-solving and decision-making skills and being able to anticipate needs of the account team / client**:
- **Demonstrates a drive and passion for sales, seeks to build effective collaborative relationships with customer that deliver positive results.**
