KPMG's Infrastructure Advisory team is recognized as one of the leading advisors for infrastructure projects. The team provides advisory services across the lifecycle of infrastructure assets for public, private, and multilateral clients in all major infrastructure sub-sectors with a geographical focus in Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Asia Pacific. In our Singapore office, our advisory service offerings are organized into three focus practices: Energy & Utilities (E&U), Transport & Mobility (T&M), and Infratech and Projects Advisory (IPA).
Our Energy & Utilities practice focuses on providing financial advisory services to conventional power, renewables, water, waste, and utilities projects. Our service offerings span across pre-transaction stages (market entry, feasibility study/business case), transaction stages for greenfield and brownfield assets (bid/buy/sell-side transaction advisory, public-private partnership procurement advisory, equity and debt capital raising), as well as strategic, policy, and regulatory advisory at the project/sub-sector level.
Openings are available for Experienced Associates to Assistant Managers with relevant experience to work in the Energy & Utilities practice.
The successful candidate is expected to undertake the following scope of work:
Providing strategic, commercial, and financial advice spanning the lifecycle of infrastructure projects to major corporate, public-sector entities, and infrastructure funds; service offerings include:
Public sector PPP procurement
Bid/sell-side transaction advisory
Capital raising advisory
Project development advisory
Financial feasibility, business case, and commercial model studies
Market analysis
Project finance model building and review
Policy and regulatory advisory
Working in a dynamic team environment on infrastructure projects across various sectors in energy & utilities, transport, and mobility
Supporting project/engagement management and client communication
Assisting in marketing and business development, including proposal preparation and building client relationships
Liaising with other business units of KPMG, including Tax, Accounting, and Transaction Services
The ideal candidate should:
Have at least 1-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a related industry or advisory environment
Have a keen interest in infrastructure and project financing and a desire to learn new skills
Possess strong quantitative and financial modeling skills, complemented by business and commercial acumen
Be self-motivated, confident, and comfortable interacting with senior team members and clients
Be a high performer with exceptional capabilities
Possess excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in additional regional languages is an advantage
