Fp&a Lead Anz Medical Devices

**Position Summary**

The FP&A Lead ANZ will be dedicated to Medical Device sector and will partner with Finance leader of the ANZ cluster in enabling Business Unit Finance’s success in Planning & Updates, Reporting, and Analytics activities. This role will be critical in developing relationships with key stakeholders within the Business Unit Finance team as well as relevant Business Partners to ensure their FP&A needs are being met.

The FP&A Lead will supervise a team of 1-2 analysts and be responsible for coaching, providing feedback and developing the necessary FP&A skills of the analysts. The Lead will play a pivotal role in reviewing critical outputs / work products produced by the Analysts and forging internal collaboration across the team to ensure high service delivery.

The Lead will also play a pivotal role in the simplification & standardization initiative. The Lead will ensure appropriate standardization of FP&A activities within the cluster and will support the FP&A COE Director in identifying and evaluating opportunities to refine and enhance the global standards. The Lead will serve a key role in implementing and refining new FP&A capabilities for the Medical Asia Pac team.

The Lead will work closely with other tiers of Finance to maintain an understanding of the broader P&L. The Lead’s core understanding of the FP&A process, as well as their ability to take ownership for performance and development of others, will be vital to the success of the Medical Asia Pac team as a whole

Standardization / Capability Build
- Drive Global & Regional FP&A standards / digital capabilities within the Medical Asia Pac group
- Support the FP&A Director on standardization efforts within the Commercial group
- Develop business acumen within self & team to improve business insights

Issue/Query Management

Prioritization / primary review of deliverables within the FP&A team

**Major Duties & Responsibilities**
- Decision Support: Prioritizing ad-hoc reporting or analytics requests (including to support Business Plan and Quarterly Update) and interfacing across the BUF and CoE. Exhibit leadership quality of Connect, Shape, and Deliver to drive Commercial related requests to completion while inspiring the team
- Decision Support: Review ad-hoc reporting & performance analytics work products
- Decision Support: Drive global standards / capabilities within the Commercial group and drive Regional continuous improvement efforts
- Planning, Updates, Standard Reporting/Analytics Execution: Review and challenge planning and updates processes, including action planning and Balance Sheet forecasts
- Planning, Updates, Standard Reporting/Analytics Execution: Review standard reporting & performance analytics work products
- Governance: Establish and maintain service level agreements and performance metrics. Monitor SLAs and performance metric operational performance
- Administrative Activities: Conduct performance reviews/serve as People Manager. Manage recruiting, onboarding, training of new team members & participate in functional or career development training

Required Qualifications**
- **Required Minimum Education**: Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent ; **Others**:CPA or equivalent
- **Required Years of Related Experience**:5-7 Years
- **Required** Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Uncompromised requirements for the role)**: Microsoft Office, Finance and Accounting knowledge
