- Salary ranges from $3,800 - $4,200 per month - min qualification: degree holder with 2 years working experience.

- Relevant training and experience in general psychology
- Relevant training and experience in applied psychology
- Knowledge of psychometrics and study design methodology
- Good communication (verbal and written) skills
- Strong research and statistical skills
- Strong task and time management skills
- Able to develop training materials catering to a specific audience
**Job Description of temporary psychologist
The job holder is required to support the OLP branch in its **research and training of HT officers and leaders, particularly to support the development of the HT Simulation Assessment Framework. **The roles of the job holder within the OLP branch are broadly categorised under the following:
- **Support Scientific Research and Collaborations on Development of the Simulation Assessment Framework.**
As part of the scope and aims of the Simulation Assessment Framework in collaboration with Centre for Simulation, the job holder is required to support the workstream from research and psychological perspective in the following areas:
- Collaborate with Centre for Simulation (CHTS) to stock-take and review relevant command leadership and incident management competencies, development of behavioral indicators and development of new HTS2 scenarios through psychological research
- Conduct a review of the academic literature, best practices and review existing assessment frameworks or models adopted locally, regionally and internationally for command leadership and incident management
- Propose design and development of assessment framework for suitable use in simulation
- Develop suitable behavioural indicators for identified competencies contextualized for settings
- Pilot test and validate behavioural indicators and assessment framework for simulations
- Support partnership by engaging internal and external partners to co-develop with Centre for Simulation an assessment framework for simulations
- Support staff engagements and professional discussions with academic partners, both local and regional
- Support the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data gathered internally or through research reviews and studies to generate insights on how assessment of leaders on command leadership competencies can be carried out during simulations
- Support and/or conduct presentations on research findings to key partners and stakeholders
- Conduct training for assessors on use of assessment framework for simulations
- **Provision of other services**
In addition, the temporary psychologist will be required to support the team in other projects under the OLP Branch These responsibilities may include:
- Assist OLP in Leadership Development initiatives e.g. 360 feedback and coaching reports for leadership development programme
- Assist OLP in research and training initiatives e.g. research symposiums and workshops on crisis leadership, personality, change management, well-being at the workplace in the new normal, ethics and values
- Assist OLP in publishing regular leadership development articles for dissemination
- Organise resources for HTBSC initiatives such as seminars, talks and appreciation events.
- Supervise intern(s) to develop research and expertise base relating to organisational and leadership psychology
