**About the Role**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Perform hands-on experimentation in sample preparation and using a wide range of LC-MS techniques for characterization of antibodies and/or other recombinant proteins
- Perform data analysis to support generation of characterization data to enable clinical trial authorisation for new antibody therapeutics
- Support development of assays, including but not limited to intact mass, peptide mapping, disulfide bonds, amino acids and glycan profiling
- Produce accurate documentation such as reports, presentations, protocols and SOPs to record detailed procedures, data and results and deliver the results within expected timelines
- Perform administrative duties including regular updates, maintenance of lab and equipment, consumables order and inventory to ensure smooth operation in the team
- Work closely with the supervisor and peers to support implementation of new cutting-edge tools and techniques in the drug discovery and development cycle

**Essential Qualifications**:

- BSc or higher in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in biopharma industry and/or academia
- Basic knowledge of protein structure and biochemistry
- Experience in the LC-MS workflow (including sample preparation, LC and MS operation and data analysis)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and be an effective team player
- Agility to handle workflow in a fast-paced environment

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Experience in method development to support LCMS analysis for complex antibodies
- Experience with Waters instrument and MS data analysis software (UNIFI Platform)
- Experience in a GxP environment
