Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented junior lawyer to fill the position of Associate Corporate Counsel, International Consumer Legal.

**The Associate Corporate Counsel role will be responsible for**:

- Providing day-to-day legal support to business teams and developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, efficient, and business-centric ways.
- Helping business teams launch new services, features, and expand our product range.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with key brands, including large multi-national companies.
- Resolving issues arising in existing commercial relationships, and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
- Anticipating and advising clients on regulatory issues and responding to contacts from regulators and external contacts.

- Demonstrated proficiency in leading contract negotiations with large multi-national companies and strong contract drafting skills.
- Experience in advising on complex legal matters that touch on Singapore consumer protection laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capable of leading complex and time sensitive projects while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
- Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity.
- Ability to provide practical business judgment, think outside the box and assess practical risk.
- Strong degree of autonomy, initiative and decisiveness.
- A team player and consensus builder with great people skills who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with other lawyers and business clients.
