  • Draft, review, and manage a variety of civil and commercial contracts for the company's operations in Singapore.
  • Support the preparation and review of legal documents related to blockchain operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and legal issues tied to the company's blockchain business in Singapore.
  • Lead the resolution of legal disputes, including contract disagreements, labor issues, and blockchain-specific matters, coordinating with internal teams and external counsel as needed.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with local authorities and regulatory bodies in Singapore relevant to the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel to address complex legal challenges and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct in-depth research on Singaporean laws, policies, and regional trends impacting blockchain technology and the broader industry.
  • Assist the legal department with additional tasks and projects as assigned, contributing to team goals and company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized and reputable institution.
  • Successful completion of the Singapore Bar Examination or equivalent legal qualification.
  • At least 5 years of legal experience, with a preference for expertise in blockchain, cryptocurrency, or financial services industries.
  • Prior experience as a practicing lawyer, or in roles within public institutions (e.g., Public Security Bureau) or the technology/internet sector, is a plus.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines with composure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and eagerness to collaborate with legal professionals across different jurisdictions.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin Chinese) is advantageous.
  • Experience with IPOs and corporate mergers and acquisitions is preferred.
