
Assistant Director, Board Secretariat

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the HOD to ensure corporate governance framework remain coherent and relevant
- Review and update internal policies, procedures and manuals relating to governance and compliance
- Assist the HOD to manage the Board Secretariat team to carry out a full spectrum of company secretarial duties.
- Assist the HOD to manage the Board Secretariat to provide consistent and high-quality corporate secretarial support and documentations.
- Help oversee the secretarial duties of Board Committees’ Secretariat to provide corporate secretarial support and documentations for the respective Board Committees’ Meetings.
- Assist the HOD in its support to Board Chairman and Senior Management
- Being responsible for or helping to manage Board and Board Committee meetings
**Requirements - Qualification Required and Area of Discipline**
- ICSA Graduate
- Track record in corporate secretariat or related functions
- Job experience in large or listed company an advantage
**Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)**
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of related work experience in large or listed companies
- Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous, attentive to detail and process driven
- Able to multi-task, meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision as well as under pressure
- Ability to lead and mentor/coach junior team members
- Good analytical and organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken and problem solving skills
- Passionate, can-do attitude, open to critical feedback
- Proficient in MS office, knowledge of corporate secretarial software, Pervasent Board App, ACRA, Bizfile and Charity Portal is an advantage.
