Reporting to APAC Finance Director, your primary responsibility is to shape and drive APAC Surgical Vision’s (SV) growth agenda and regional office budget management. You will be the finance partner for regional Commercial Excellence & Marketing team to operationalize Long-Range Financial Planning (LRFP) and challenge the organization on what’s the optimal “Go to Market” model / portfolio and pricing ladder for the region.
Your Key Stakeholders include:
- Surgical Vision VP
- Surgical Vision Asia Pacific Leadership team
- Vision Finance Leadership team
- Cross functional Surgical Vision stakeholders including Supply Chain
**Major Duties & Responsibilities**
Business Partnering
- Key finance partner to regional commercial excellence and marketing director. Independent voice of reasoning for business.
- Long-Range Financial Plan (develop & operationalize)
- Leverage insights from market data, regulatory / reimbursement changes, competitor analysis to frame APAC growth agenda and investment prioritization.
- Help Supply Chain shape & prioritize capability build required to support LRFP Growth Agenda
- Shape portfolio discussion around capability build (e.g. Digitalization)
Finance task includes
- Business
- Framework & execution of Price laddering, bundle deal, product portfolio analysis for GP Optimization
- Go to Market Model (both existing & new markets). Balancing commercial requirements (Direct vs Distributor) vs Transfer Pricing framework
- Supply Chain - represent finance in regional demand planning & inventory management (internal & external)
- Finance
- Process improvement projects (process / governance / Signifi)
- Report & plan APAC financials
- Compliance
- Continuously drive simplicity, complexity reduction and standardization across SV processes in the region. Identify gaps or opportunity areas and drive through the desired outcomes
- Proactively lead and shape compliance environment and standards working with various stakeholders (Tax, Health Care & Compliance, Legal, Global Services) especially around bundle deal.
- Sharing of best practice across the region & global.
Organisation / Talent Development
- Manage and develop a small team
- Foster an environment of teamwork, innovation and sharing of ideas
- Drive culture of One Team and improve connect across Finance tiers in J&J
- Support DE&I Initiatives
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent
- Minimum of 7+ years of finance business experience is required.
- Working knowledge of transfer pricing and treasury necessary.
- Strategic mindset and business acumen.
- An independent individual, a go-getter with the mindset to making a difference
- Strong collaborative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust amongst business leaders and finance colleagues
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to inspire, motivate and empower team, with the ability to attract and develop talent. Team player across levels, functions, and reporting lines
