**What the role is**
- We seek a passionate professional to be part of our Strategic Engagement team. The post-holder will work closely with officers from the organization as part of the Office of Strategic Partnership (OSP) office. The post-holder is to provide support for Muis’ Senior Management team in their strategic engagement with international partners and local stakeholders.
The post-holder will also provide support executing public relations and communication strategy for the organization.
- Support the office in identifying, building and maintaining good relationships with movers and shakers locally, as well as international partners that can influence organisation’s standing and policies.
- Accountable for evaluating and maintaining stakeholder’s database.
- Act as point of contact and assessing request from various stakeholders.
- Support and assist in any coordination of stakeholder engagement activities.
- Monitor and respond to developments in policies and programmes of strategic international partners.
- To support and co-ordinate arrangement of inwards and outwards visits by high-profile international key personnel/delegates (meeting and logistic support, contribute to briefings, taking minutes, and any other relevant duties as required)
- Build and maintain excellent working relationship with internal stakeholders in order to be a credible advisor on partnership and opportunities.
- Tertiary education with at least 2 years of relevant experience,
- Track record of working in face-paced office environment supporting senior colleagues and working independently on guided projects.
- Demonstrable interest in international affairs/policy will be an advantage, as will knowledge on religious policy, international collaboration, and intercultural communication.
- Excellent understanding of strategic engagement and communication.
- Good command of written English and Malay, as well as the ability to prepare high quality briefings and reports
