Job Description:
The day-to-day activities:
- Lead end-to-end key partnerships: deal structuring, negotiation and implementation, with significant autonomy covering all of Grab’s portfolio (GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabAds, GrabExpress, GrabPay)
- Build relationships and engage with C-Level / senior leadership both internally and externally with strategic partners to drive key agenda and initiatives
- Combine key partner’s insights with market dynamics and internal data to formulate and identify short, mid and long term strategy and objectives to continuously drive valuable business growth and impact for our partners
- Identify key challenges and opportunities to improve how we engage and serve our key partners, and actively help with problem solving in order to execute actionable plans
- Influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders within product, operations, data and marketing teams to support high impact initiatives
- Lead a team of talented individuals and act as a source of advice to drive the commercial strategy and planning for key regional partners
What we expect from you:
- Bring your analytical A-game. You’ll be building business models, performing analysis to understand trends, provide actionable insights, and track productivity and success of initiatives to ensure we’re driving toward the best possible outcome
- Drive team accountability by managing the regional deal pipeline and review process, ensuring deals serve company strategy, accounting for risk appropriately, monitoring competitive developments, and conducting impact assessments / readouts in collaboration with the data analytics team
- Drive initiatives with a mindset for action. Collaborate with different stakeholders to identify, analyse and execute initiatives to continuously drive value for our key partners. This involves wearing many hats and jumping in to help your teammates when the needs arise.
- Your regional focus will be on Southeast Asia but will require you to have a deep understanding of the ecosystem globally
The must haves:
- 8 years+ of relevant experience in e-commerce, investment banking, strategy consulting or experience managing a P&L portfolio at a high growth company
- 4 years+ of experience managing high performing teams in fast growing companies
- High throughput. Your strong bias towards action helped you earn the reputation of someone who gets things done. You love having a lot on your plate and get energy from being busy.
- Strategic thinker - able to add value to a business strategy or negotiation
- The athlete’s mentality. You’re an all around player, flexing and stretching your analytical prowess, pitching in as needed but also knowing when to take control and lead a conversation be it with an engineer, a product manager, or a C-level executive.
- Strong interpersonal skills which allow you to build trust and negotiate hard with partners, adeptly manage the cross-functional coordination and lead a high performing team
- Ability to multi-task and deal with time pressure in an unstructured environment; ability to work through uncertainty
- Adept at building and delivering presentations

- Experience managing merchants on marketplace platforms
- Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Salesforce, SQL tools
- A wealth of high-impact relationships across F&B leading companies in the region
