**THE POSITION**

This position of **Supplier Quality Engineer** is designed to make a significant contribution towards assuring the overall quality and consistency of the Company’s products and services. It’s a key role to ensure and continuously improve the supplier quality management and compliances processes. and resolve quality issues.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead supplier quality management by monitoring overall supplier performance, facilitating periodic reviews with strategic suppliers and driving improvement projects when necessary.
- Perform supplier audits and development in collaboration with global/regional team.
- Manage supplier issue resolution through SCAR/ 8D for incoming inspection non-conformances and customer feedback.
- Support root cause analysis and follow up actions for internal quality issues related to suppliers.
- Concurrently resolve quality issues with suppliers that affected customers.
- Update management in a timely fashion regarding the status of quality issues.
- Maintenance of relevant ISO and quality related records.
- Track and generate KPI analysis data for review and presentation.
- Prepare and update all necessary quality reports required by management.
- Assist in customers’ and ISO audits.
- Work with EHS committee to ensure EHS objectives are met.
- To perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Quality.

**CANDIDATE'S PROFILE**
- Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification in technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in handling suppliers’ quality issues.
- Expertise in Class C Inventory in mechanical parts/ components and related manufacturing/ supply chain processes would be a strong advantage.
- Good teamwork and able to multi-task.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Pleasant personality and a good communicator.
- Proficient in MS Office - Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word.

**HOW TO APPLY**
