We are looking for a Sourcing Engineer to manage reliable, cost-effective suppliers in the Philippines and Asia. The role includes supporting new product sourcing, handling part transfers, negotiating prices, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery. You’ll work with local and global teams to help improve supply chain performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Vendor Sourcing and Management**:

- Sourcing, Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers through procurement process.
- Lead and responsible for material sourcing and qualification schedule & status update to Project Team timely.

**Negotiation and Contract Management**:

- Drive contract/ quotation(s) negotiation with qualified local PH, Asian supplier(s), other regions to meet target price(s)
- Comprehend Contract language and draft new Contract terms and conditions.
- Essure contract are properly executed and managed.

**Commodity Management**:

- Develop and implement sourcing commodities strategies for specific types of materials or components.
- Analyzing market trends, supplier performance, and competitor pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.

**Spend Analysis and Cost Optimization**:

- Analyze and provide quotation(s) summary for final decision making to management and initiate meetings for decision and alignment.
- Analyzing spending data to identify areas for cost reduction and improvement.

**Supplier Relationship and Performance Management**:

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring ongoing communication and cooperation.
- Conduct Supplier Business Review to highlight performance and drive improvements.

**Support FAI/ Projects**:

- Issue Quantity Contract or Purchaser Order for First Article purpose and drive First Article Inspection (FAI) with Supplier, Engineering Team, and FAI Team to complete part qualification.
- Support FAI material readiness if the product(s) is not transferred to manufacturing.

**Compliance and Risk Management**:

- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards and mitigating potential risks.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Engineering/ Supply Chain.
- Minimum 7 years’ experiences in Sourcing/ Procurement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word and ability to read drawing.
- Experience with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills required.
- Excellent communication skills are needed to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Identifying and solving sourcing-related issues.
- Must be capable of converting data into information that can be utilized to make key decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a cross-functional team members with Engineering.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $5,700.00 per month
