**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals responsible for monitoring, incident response, and operational support.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IT Command Centre team.
- Coordinate real-time incident response activities and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and implement incident response plans, ensuring a swift and effective response to incidents that impact IT services.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to investigate and resolve incidents, documenting root causes and implementing preventive measures. Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying trends and potential issues.
- Implement strategies to enhance system availability and optimize performance.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize monitoring and automation tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the Command Centre. Collaborate with the IT team to implement automated responses to common incidents.
- Collaborate with business units to understand operational requirements and align IT services accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of standard operating procedures, incident response plans, and configurations within the IT Command Centre. Develop and update runbooks for common incident scenarios.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IT Command Centre, incorporating feedback from incidents and monitoring data.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
- Develop and manage budgets for the IT Command Centre, including technology investments, personnel, and training expenses.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Good communication skill.
- Proven experience in managing IT operations with a focus on command centre functions.
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, especially in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Security+, or others related to IT operations and incident response are advantageous.
- 4 years or more experience in IT Operations.
- 3 years experience in Command Centre.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders during incident response.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to make strategic decisions and provide direction to the team.
