**Responsibilities**:

- Report on and analyze new market data as they are released by various government and non-governmental agencies
- Focus is bio/renewable diesel market in US/EU/Indonesia
- Knowledge of ethanol and gasoline would be a plus
- Be up to date and continuously read on the latest developments in biofuel regulations in different regions
- Provide timely, accurate and actionable insights to vegoil trading team to drive strategic decision making
- Provide thought leadership for new data, government regulation, and innovation in the biofuel market
- Establish processes to efficiently gather relevant data from the biofuel market
- Translate numbers in bio/renewable diesel supply/demand into demand for vegoils
- Lead the development, enhancement and execution of models and processes to forecast and describe price, supply and demand, relative value and global trends

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Science - STEM)
- Minimum 3 year experience as a biofuel market analyst (or relevant field)
- Knowledge of time-series and statistical modeling
- Knowledge of commodities and market structure, particularly in energy, agriculture, and biofuels
- Strong interpersonal skills with a keen ability to explain complex concepts and to build successful relationships with the business stakeholders
