**Media planning lead**

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the media business in Regional Headquarters of Cheil in South East Asia and Oceania (SEAO)
- Plan, propose and develop holistic media operations strategies including processes to provide incremental business value to clients through a proposal.
- Plan the entire media operation journey along the consumer’s purchase journey from Awareness, Engagement to Intent and Conversion by using the holistic media channel from ATL to digital and programmatic for the client to drive their business objectives.
- Creating media plan to achieve campaign objectives within allocated budget by developing briefs for ads teams to execute media buys on various ads platforms.
- Build the media performance tracking analytics framework with KPIs (Key Performance Index) to measure the success of media operation and KPDs (Key Performance Driver) to discover the actionable insights optimizing media spend to achieve better performance.
- Lead actual media buying operations with a dedicated media team across media operation and analytics team with strategic planning
- Lead regular media performance analysis update with the stakeholders including the clients for them understand the progress of performance and actionable insight to optimize the media buying
- Lead the post media campaign performance analysis with useful actionable insight to take away for the next campaign planning
- Take charge of the client communication on a daily basis with strong support from the operations team.
- To receive media briefs from the client and share with the team based on the strategic approach and framework
- Invite the new ad tech to advance our media operation in terms of planning, buying and analytics
- Delivering successful holistic marketing objectives with the right media strategies from Awareness and Engagement to Intent and Conversion along consumer’s purchase journey.Covering of the holistic media channels with the right media channel strategy including media mix from traditional media (TV, OOH, Native ad, etc.) and affiliate marketing including Influencer channel to Digital paid media such as Facebook ad, Google ad and other programmatic ad (DV360, TTD and others) and owned social media channels like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 8 years of dedicated media business experience with the media business expertise.
- Minimum 6 years of digital media hands-on experience with good knowledge of platform and ad tech
- Comprehensive understanding of media business along entire marketing process to position media’s role align to marketing strategy properly
- Good knowledge of media industry from traditional media (TV, OOH, Native ad, etc.) and Affiliate channel (Affiliate network, Influencers, etc.) to digital media including paid media (Facebook ad, Google ad, Programmatic ad, etc.) and Owned Social channels (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)
- At least 3 years of hands-on media buying experience in ATL and Digital
- Well versed on Ad tech such as CDP (Customer Data Platform), DMP (Data Management Platform), SSP (Server Side Platform) and Analytics Platform to advance the media business operation
- Good knowledge in technical operation dynamics on digital advertisements to be able to build the holistic campaign structure from budget management, setting ad objectives in campaign level, targeting in adset (adgroup) level and creative message format including CID (Campaign ID) parameter setup based on the ad platform expertise
- Strong analytical skills to use the right analytics data by each ad platform such as Facebook ad analytics, Google ad analytics and DV360 analytics to track the success of performance and provide actionable insights to optimize media buying
- Good sense of analytics to use relevant data points to back up the planning hypothesis rationally
- Comprehensive analytics knowledge to measure entire consumer journey campaign success from digital media channel to the brand website by using the web analytics tool like Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
- Strategic planning capability to build the right framework in delivering the media strategy to have client and stakeholders buy-in agreeing to our plans Good verbal and documented presentation skills to deliver our idea effectively in clean and neat manner
