Overview

The mission of the Youth Preventive Service (YPS) of the Health Promotion Board (HPB) is ensure every child is a healthy child by promoting good health through early detection and intervention. The Youth Preventive Health Service Division (YPHS) is one of the 3 divisions under YPS. The services provided by the YPHS include health screening, immunisation and lifestyle intervention for the children and youth in Singapore. YPHS has 4 departments namely School Health Service, Student Health Centre, Student Wellness Service and Nursing Service.

You will be a part of YPHS’ Administration team, that provides administrative support to ensure that all services and programmes under YPHS run smoothly and are streamlined to ensure that we provide quality services to all students in Singapore.

**What You Can Expect**

As part of the YPHS Administration team, you will oversee YPHS operational and programme performance review through data analytics translatable to actionable outcomes. The team will work towards extracting value from process optimisation, reducing inefficiencies and improve service standards to achieve programme and operational excellence. Other requirements include department operations ranging from procurement to collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

You are required to:

- Identify team-specific and common cross-cutting department functional and operational needs through data analysis
- Conceptualise, implement and evaluate comprehensive student health programmes and workflows to improve service delivery and customer experience
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high uptake of key programmes within YPHS
- Ensure that common administrative duties such as billing and procurement are performed within organisational timeframes

- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- The ability to work with ambiguity and investigate to sense-make and propose timely solutions
- A meticulous nature (working with numbers)
- The ability to think strategically and demonstrate strong analytical skills and creativity in generating ideas and solutions to complex issues
- A keen sense of both business/operational needs and customer centricity, with a strategic viewpoint and the ability to translate them into product strategy/roadmap
- The ablilty to rally both internal and external stakeholders to work towards a collective purpose and co-create solutions for common good
- Experience in healthcare and/or clinical operations projects preferred, but not necessary for consideration
