Roles & Responsibilities

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the in-country CDD Advisory function.
- Review, assess and advise on a broad range of financial crime matters, including anti-money laundering measures relating to KYB (know your business) and KYC (know your customer).
- Implement policies and procedures to mitigate financial crime risk.
- Ensure all raised cases have been investigated and reviewed.
- Supervise the in-country QA (quality assurance) function and ensure first line of defence teams are operating to the required standards.
- Ensure team adherence to SLA’s and all required standards.
- Submit reports and be the point of contact with supervisory functions including internal and external audit teams as it relates to first line of defence for CDD and CDD quality control.
- Recruit and train outstanding team members for your team.
**About You**:

- 3+ years leading and developing a team.
- Previous experience in compliance/financial crime with knowledge of enterprise risk, AML/CFT and the relevant regulatory rules.
- Experience in FinCrime operations, and managing a team acting as the first line of defence in investigations and escalations.
- Proven track record in successfully leading a team in a fast paced environment.
- Good attention to details, balanced with the ability to see a wider perspective and to continually challenge.
- Well organised self-starter, able to prioritise quickly and adapt to tight timeframes.
- Strong collaborator and communicator to influence stakeholders across levels.
- Excellent written communication skills with great ability to present analysis and recommendations.
- ACAMS/ICA or similar qualification preferred but not vital.
