Our Client is a Japanese Recruitment Agency looking for a Head of Development to join their start-up phase. You will be in charge of either the Platform Development team or the Machine (AI) Learning team of the company. and who leads/manages the engineering team and also various services development.
You will be reporting to Director, Development team in HQ Japan
- Communication will be all in English

【 What you will be doing 】
- Leads/manages the engineering team and also various services development.
- Front-end and back-end development (design, implementation, effectiveness verification)
- Verification and implementation of new technologies
- Review and implementation of measures in collaboration with PdM
- Recruitment of the potential engineers
- ** Requirement**:

- 【 What they are looking for 】
- Bachelor's degree or equivalency in Computer science
- At least 10 years of experience in web service development (Own Web site)
- 5+ years of management experience
- 5+ years of development experience using statically typed languages

・List of development environments and tools to be used
- Front-end TypeScript / Angular / Svelte Kit
- Backend Scala / Play Framework / Slick / Serverless Framework / NestJS
- Infrastructure

: Terraform / Docker / AWS （IAM Identity Center, Cloudfront, ECS, Aurora, Redshift, OpenSearch, Cloudwatch Cloudwatch Alerm, EventBridge, WAF, Chatbot, etc.
- Development Support

: GitHub Actions / GitHub Enterprise / Redash / Slack / JIRA / Confluence

- Experience in development using state management libraries + front-end frameworks
- Leadership experience in team development
- Experience in technology selection/validation
- Experience in database design/modelling
- Experience with performance tuning
- Quality assurance experience
- Experience in project management and offshore management
- ** Working Hour**: 9:00 ~ 18:00
