Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and visionary Retail Excellence Director to lead and elevate the commercial and operational performance of our high jewellery retail network.
- This role requires a strong business leader with deep luxury retail expertise, capable of driving profitable growth while preserving the brand’s excellence in service, heritage, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Strategy, Business & Performance
- Define and implement a global retail excellence strategy aligned with business objectives and market growth.
- Act as a commercial partner to regional teams to drive revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor business KPIs across all stores; provide strategic direction to optimize productivity, conversion, and sell-through.
- Identify performance gaps and implement scalable solutions to enhance boutique output and client retention.
Client Experience & Commercial Engagement
- Develop client-centric programs that drive loyalty, frequency, and high-value transactions.
- Partner with CRM, Clienteling, and Marketing teams to transform insights into actionable business opportunities.
- Ensure that client experience strategies directly contribute to measurable commercial impact.
Operational Excellence & Business Scalability
- Standardize and elevate boutique operations, ensuring alignment with brand SOPs and cost-efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve retail execution.
- Ensure boutiques operate as profitable, brand-building environments.
Training, Performance & Business Empowerment
- Design and drive training programs focused on luxury service, sales conversion, and product knowledge.
- Equip boutique leaders with business tools and analytics to manage performance, people, and processes effectively.
- Foster a high-performance culture where teams understand and act on their business impact.
Retail Innovation & Technology
- Champion retail technology that supports business scalability and client personalization.
- Implement retail tools that improve decision-making, clienteling, and sales forecasting.
Cross-functional Business Collaboration
- Align retail excellence goals with merchandising, finance, and digital teams to ensure commercial coherence.
- Support expansion and transformation projects with retail input and business acumen.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced business qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury retail, with strong focus on business leadership, P&L management, and retail operations.
- Experience in high jewelry or ultra-luxury sectors required.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and retail excellence across multiple markets.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; confident using business intelligence and KPIs to inform decisions.
- Proficient in CRM, POS, and retail data tools.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
