**Specialist Teaching And Learning Assistant (Drama)**

The successful applicant will be an individual who has worked with the educational sector and has a passion for the Drama and the Arts. As a member of the Arts team, he/she will provide support for a variety of activities and events. He/She will work closely with the Head of Drama (Junior), in order to contribute to lessons, performances and productions as the Head of Drama requires. Activities and events require day-to-day management and progressive improvement of our studio spaces and resources. He/She should also be organised, having the ability to manage the storage, supply of props and costumes and work with the Head of Drama (Junior) and technical staff at Tanglin Trust to facilitate class sessions, shows and workshops. Administrative responsibilities are also important, including assistance with the organising of theatre trips, displays, room bookings and supplies for office and lessons.

The role reports to Head of Junior School though Head of Drama (Junior).
- Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 year of relevant experience
- An established background of working in a professional theatre and/or education sector or relevant experience within the arts
- Have a flair for lighting and sound design and the ability to execute such designs in Performance
- Competency as a Multi Media Editor
- Competency with computerised lighting desks, sound mixers, music and media software
- Stage management experience (including prop making) a distinct advantage
- Competency with MS Office, Google Docs, QLab (or equivalent), audio editing software, MS Outlook
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Ability to communicate well and work in a team essential
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
- Positive, enthusiastic and mature individuals who enjoy working with children and teachers
