Job Descriptions:
- Supervise all Security Personnel, institute working rules and practices to meet standards.
- To administer and effective deploy all Security Personnel.
- To administer and ensure that the security agency provides the correct headcount and complied with the terms and conditions of the security contract.
- To handle all liaison with the Police and other enforcement agencies.
- To establish training programmes and procedures for staff development.
- To conduct training and refresher courses for Security Personnel periodically.
- To enforce discipline amongst all Security Personnel.
- To conduct investigations into all breaches of security and to take appropriate follow up action. The Management is to be kept informed accordingly.
- To review existing security arrangements periodically and to make appropriate recommendations where necessary.
- Develop department budget and ensure that expenses are within budget and financial goals are attained.
- Make recommendations regarding necessary capital expenditures and improvements works in enhancing the Club’s security and safety.
- To attend all House & Recreation meetings and any other meetings or activity as directed by Management.
- To attend to all complaints / disputes and initiate immediate follow up action.
- Maintain good relationship across departments.
- Assume the role and full responsibilities of a Fire Safety Manager.
- Prepare and implement Emergency Response Plan which include but not limited to Fire Emergency Plan, In-Place Protection Plan and Arson Prevention Plan.
- Ensure the compliance with Fire Safety requirements as per stipulated in the Emergency Response Plan.
- Conduct building inspections for violation of Fire Safety Act and Audit on a Monthly basis.
- Conduct at least 2 Table-Top Exercises and 2 Fire Drills annually. Evaluate the effectiveness of such exercises and drills.
- Submit monthly Fire Safety Manager’s inspection report and annual Fire Safety Report to SCDF.
- Assume the role and full responsibilities of the Workplace, Safety and Health Manager for the Club.
- Identify, assess, control and manage safety-related and health-related risks at the workplace
- Develop, maintain & review of risk assessment (RAs) for the Club.
- Develop, maintain and improve WSH SOPs and Processes.
- Lead the Club in attaining BizSafe Level 3 Certification and on-going re-certification.
- To carry out any other tasks as directed by the Management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
**_a) Qualifications _**
- GCE ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level / Diploma
- Attended Supervisory Courses in Security
- National Skills Recognition Systems Certified (NSRS)
- Workforce Skills Qualification in Security
- Fire Safety Manager Certificate issued by relevant authorities under the Fire Safety Act
- Workplace Safety & Health Certificate issued by relevant authorities under the Workplace Safety & Health Act.
**_b) Experiences _**
- Preferably from Law enforcement organization or any other uniform group.
- To have a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience and with minimum of 2 years in supervisory role.
**_c) Skills & Knowledge _**
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and train all Security Personnel to the highest service standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
**_d) Requirements _**
- Able to work long and irregular hours including weekends and Public Holidays
- Valid Security License issued by Singapore Police
- Must be a qualified Fire Safety Manager
- Valid class 3 driving license
