Position Summary

1. Strengthen the product's competitiveness in the market by planning differentiation strategy based on the market, customer, competitor and technology analysis.

2. Define the functionalities of the products and create short-term and mid-term roadmaps for each product.

3. Identify new business areas through market, technology trend and product analysis.

Role and Responsibilities
- Overall accountable for the assigned product in driving the market shares, API and the total product portfolio to achieve the sales targets.
- Manage product roadmaps, product positioning, product life cycle and pricing to ensure we extend our leadership and market share position
- Develop product strategies, Roadmaps and determine market segmenting, targeting and positioning.
- Build, develop and manage a strong and talented team, train them and develop their marketing expertise and know-how
- Manage PPP budget and sales forecast for the category
- Manage the collection and analysis of consumer and market insights for the category, share findings with the regional office to ensure the consistency of new product development with the country’s needs
- Lead in product launch planning and execution to ensure awareness creation on all consumer touch points
- Competitive product benchmarking on pricing, promotion and product
- End of life and new product launch management
- Conceptualization of Go-to-Market strategies and marketing plan alignment with Marcom team
- Working with Trade Marketing team to ensure strong execution of in-store display and communication and field force performance
- Working with Field Force manager to align on product training and selling skills for field force
- Planning of field force remuneration package (incentives) to manage motivation level of field force
- Management of monthly sales forecasting (Sokbo / Silreng) and P&L (marketing budget and sales allowance allocation to various cross functional teams)
- Analysis of weekly sell-out trend (MCS and GfK) to identify strength, weakness, threats and opportunities
- Working closely with sales team to manage sell-in and sell-out forecast accuracy and WOS
- Maintaining close collaborative relationship with retailers and business partners to plan for impactful promotion and marketing activities
- Authorized person for Digital Video Broadcasting Television (DVB-T2) / NEA Energy Labelling Scheme (MELS) / Spring Singapore Safety Certification (Certificate of Conformity and Letter of Acknowledgement) / Telecommunication Declaration of Conformity (IMDA)
- To manage and provide guidance to direct reporting in:

- Store by store sell-out and competition performance analysis and recommending solutions or suggestions to improve performance
- Weekly tracking of in-house share and regular updating of store capacity and grading of stores
- Raising of budget (Marketing Expense / Sales Allowance) in the system and issuing of memos to trade
- Management of Samsung Redemption Management System and appointed redemption centre
- Generating weekly sell-out report
- Sample management
- To work closely with Marcoms team to grow the PTO for TV
- Strengthen cross functional team execution to ensure consistent messaging for impactful go to market initiatives
- Creating strong brand leadership with QLED 8K

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above Marketing working experience for at least 8 years, with solid sales background and trade marketing experience
- Experience in Product Marketing and Product Training B2B and B2C marketing experience
- Experience in Account Management, liaise with sales distributor
- Well experienced with adequate MS office software
