**About the Role**
The Back Office team manages the lifecycle of all trades executed by the Front Office. This includes deal confirmations, managing margins and collateral, balancing group accounts, invoicing, and settlement. The team collaborates closely with Trading Desks, Risk, Finance, Accounting, and Legal to ensure seamless operations.

As part of the expanding APAC operations, the Singapore Back Office team is growing to support an increasing number of products and desks. This role will involve operational responsibilities, process improvements, and automation to drive efficiency in supporting regional growth.

**Responsibilities**
- Independently perform operational activities across the trade lifecycle.
- Ensure accurate execution of trades with thorough checks.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers and counterparties.
- Oversee contract administration with attention to detail.
- Ensure deals are captured and settled for profit optimization.
- Assist in setting up new trading products across the region.
- Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Europe to ensure alignment.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a relevant field, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- 3-5 years of experience in commodities/derivatives trading or banking.
- Exposure to operations in Physical Power, Gas Markets in APAC/Australia, Freight Trading, or Clearing and Collateral Management is advantageous.
- Proficient IT skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while building relationships.
- Commercially driven, adaptable in a dynamic work environment, and eager to learn.
